Sign in at gamestash.cc/login from any browser — phone, tablet, another PC. Your full gallery is immediately available. No setup required on the second device.
Install the Gamestash plugin from the Decky Loader store. Once installed and logged in, it watches your Steam Deck's screenshot folder. When you take a screenshot in any game, it's automatically uploaded the next time your Deck is online — no need to keep a game running.
No. The client and plugin are lightweight watchers — they idle until a new file appears, then upload it in the background. CPU usage is negligible. On Steam Deck, uploads happen over Wi-Fi and have no meaningful impact on battery or game performance.
Videos are large — a single clip can be hundreds of megabytes. Offering unlimited video storage on a free tier isn't financially sustainable. Screenshots average 1–3 MB each, so 1 GB covers a meaningful library. If you capture a lot of video footage, the Gamer plan at $3/mo is a cost-effective upgrade.
Your account reverts to the Free tier. If your stored media exceeds 1 GB, new uploads are paused until you free up space or re-subscribe. Existing media is not deleted immediately — you have 30 days to download anything over the free-tier limit before it's removed.
